Launching MIUI for Pad and MIUI 12.5 Upgraded Edition

Xiaomi at the Mi MIX 4 launch event, announced a bunch of hardware and software. Let’s check on the details of the products, MIUI 12.5 advanced Edition and MIUI for pad.

Enhanced Edition MIUI 12.5

MIUI 12.5 is an improvised version of MIUI 12.  Xiaomi claims an upgraded version of MIUI 12.5 comes with solutions for 160 system header difficulties and 224 system application problems. The present version of MIUI takes versatile optimization from the top to bottom framework of the system. 

The company claims that the new version is the result of the engineers working on it for 6 months. They achieved this progress on the mobile operating system by optimizing the MIUI system. This statement discloses that the MIUI Pioneer Group might not have played any major role in the development as it was recently established.

In short, MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition has no new features to introduce. In its place it comes with 4 optimizations, they are Liquid storage, Intelligent Balance, Atomic Memory, and Focus calculation.

• Liquid Storage: which is a self-made solution for upgrading storage mechanism facilitating in recollecting the read and write performance over a longer period. 
• Atomic memory: which also is a self-made solution, optimizing memory management mechanism and improves the performance, holding applications in memory. 
• Focus Calculation: The Improving processor scheduling helps reduce Power consumption and CPU usage.

• Intelligent Balance: This resolution wisely allots hardware performance and power consumption, seeing a balance between the two. 

The stable update of the First batch of the following 12 devices of MIUI 12.5 upgraded Edition is expected to be launched from 13th August in China.

Xiaomi claims that a detailed introduction of the new product planned for all the eligible devices will be shortly shared on Mi Community.   It’s not sure if this version of MIUI will be available in the market in near future. 

Xiaomi MIUI for Pad

In the last 3 years Xiaomi Launched First ever 3 tablets Mi Pad, Mi Pad 5 Pro and Mi MIX 4.  The company not only brought high-end hardware for a reasonable price; they also introduced a new version of MIUI called MIUI for Pad. 

This New version of MIUI for Pad is basically a recreation of MIUI 12.5 for tablets. It’s a fact that many Android applications have no full screen options yet. Xiaomi claims its Android versions are provided with a full-screen app and with split-screen mode. 

The company even mentions, though only 300+ normal applications are well promoted for MIUI for Pad, hereafter, it has set a goal to adapt 2000 applications by this year’s end. The company is yet to mention anything on the new Mi Security app for tablets. 

To improve the state of the Android tablet App Ecosystem the company requested the designers of app to enroll in the companies open platform.
