Realme has unveiled a new smartphone with the latest MediaTek Helio G96 mobile processor in the market of India. It is the first gadget in India to come with the processor. The smartphone brand has collaborated with the chipset maker. The latest smartphone has a triple rear camera setup, a big battery, and high refresh rate. Specifications of Realme 8i

The latest smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display and a punch-hole set up. The resolution is 2400 x 1080 pixels. Besides, the display features 600 nits brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 401ppi pixel density. The mobile phone also supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The mobile phone packs a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, 4 GB / 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The device consists of 64 GB / 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

Talking about the camera department, the new Realme 8i sports a 16-megapixel front camera. It features a triple rear camera setup. It is the combination of a 50-megapixel main camera, along with a 2-megapixel macro camera. Besides, the company has included a 2-megapixel depth lens. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.

It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. Speaking about connectivity, the device houses USB-C, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Realme 8i with 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage is priced at Rs. 13,999. The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB model costs Rs. 15,999. The sale starts on September 14. It is purchasable via Realme India’s online store and Flipkart.
