Realme, the fast-growing smartphone brand, is increasing its presence in the market by launching the new smartphone Realme 8s 5G. It is the world’s first device to feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 810 mobile platforms. The company comes with Android 11. Pricing and availability 

Realme smartphone with the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs Rs.17,999. The price tag of the 8GB RAM + 128GB  variant is Rs.19,999. The company plans to sell the device on September 13 via Realme India’s website and Flipkart.

Specifications of Realme 8s 5G

The new Realme 8s 5G sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole set up on the top of the screen. Moreover, it features 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The gadget houses the 6nm Dimensity 810 5G chip along with 6 GB / 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It has an expandable microSD card. The new smartphone comes with up to 5 GB of virtual RAM.

In terms of the optics, the device supports a front camera of 16-megapixel. It features a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, along with a 2-megapixel macro camera. There is a 2-megapixel depth lens.

The new device has the support of a Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 OS out of the box. It gets power to work from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W Dart Charge fast charging. Coming to the connectivity options, The device features dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone.
