Vivo increases its presence in the market by launching the Vivo X70 series smartphones. Here we are going to check the details of the new smartphone Vivo X70 Pro+ that is part of the series. The company introduces a new smartphone with the latest and greatest Snapdragon processor and quad camera setup with a 48-megapixel camera. Pricing and availability 

The device comes with the price tag of ¥5499 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs ¥5999. The 12GB RAM + 512GB version available at ¥6999. The sale will start on September 12 in China.

Specifications of Vivo X70 Pro+

The latest handset sports a 6.78-inch 2K Samsung’s E5 AMOLED display along with a 10-bit panel. It also features a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and a 120Hz variable refresh rate. The resolution is 120Hz. It has a maximum brightness of 1500 nits and a 300Hz touch sampling rate (1000Hz max). The smartphone comes with an A+ certification rating from DisplayMate. It packs a Snapdragon 888 Plus processor and up to 12GB LPDDDR5 RAM. Moreover there is up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the device houses a quad rear camera setup. It consists of a 50 MP Samsung GN1 sensor with OIS and an f/1.57 aperture along with a 48 MP Sony IMX598 ultrawide shooter and an 8 MP pericope lens with 5x optical zoom and OIS. Moreover, there is also a 12 MP portrait camera with OIS. The device also supports a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The device packs Low-Dispersion High-Transmittance Glass Lens and four classic ZEISS lenses. The company also includes  lenses like the Contax Biotar, Contax Distagon, Hasselblad Planar, and Olympia Sonnar. It is powered by the Vivo V1 chip. 

There is an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security. The smartphone has obtained an IP68 rating.

Speaking about the connectivity option, the handset comes with dual-band Wi-Fi with 2.4GHz and 5.1GHz bands, 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NFC, USB Type-C, and USB OTG. The Vivo X70 Pro+ has the support of Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0. It houses a 4500mAh battery with 55W flash wired charging along with 50W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
