Tecno Pova 5G has been unveiled in the market of Nigeria. It is the first 5G smartphone of the company. The latest smartphone comes with Dimensity 900 chipset, huge battery and recent camera setup. Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of Transsion India, has announced the launching timeline and pricing details for the Indian market. It was in an interview with GizNex.

The company informed that it has plans to introduce new TWS, speakers, and a smartwatch in 2022 in the Indian market.

It will unveil the Tecno wristwatch in the country in the second quarter of this year. Tecno wristwatch will be priced less than ₹5,000. Let’s check the pricing, availability, and other details of the latest Tecno POVA 5G.

Availability and Pricing

The mobile phone will be unveiled in India in the third or fourth week of January. The price is expected to be between ₹18,000 and ₹20,000 in India.

Specifications of Tecno POVA 5G

The device sports a 6.95-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole design. The resolution is 1080 x 2460 pixels. The device also comes with 480ppi pixel density, as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. The device packs Dimensity 900 packs.

The smartphone houses 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The company has included 3 GB of virtual RAM. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device comes with HiOS. Moreover, it is based on Android 11. It supports the Aether Black edition of the POVA 5G.

Speaking of the camera department, the device features a rear camera system. It consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera, and a 2-megapixel camera, and AI lens. The device also features a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. The Tecno 4K time-lapse and panorama.

It supports a 6,000mAh battery, with 18W fast charging. The company claims that it needs only a 15-minute charge for 3 hours of gameplay time.
